Lamar gives us a nostalgic vibe with the saxophone horn in the background, evoking a blues vibe as he raps about the struggle and the “hard times like God.” He assures us through his poetic melodies that even though times are harder than we imagined, and people everywhere are struggling to come up and gather the many remnants of their life together, that WE will be alright. The individual struggles turn into a collective anthem of redemption….. The penmanship alone evokes community, unity, hope, and a brighter now and future….
